Amanda Martin

Amanda Dawn Martin age 35 of Rocky Mount passed away on Saturday, May 20, 2023. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Carter and Betty Agee, Dave and Gloria Martin; her uncle, Ronald Agee; and cousins, Ben Walton and Rainey Jeffries.

Amanda was the life of any and all gatherings as she lit up the room with her infectious smile. Her quick wit and humor were traits she carried with her everyday as you never knew what would be next. She was the Payroll Administrator for Fleetwood, a job she truly loved and enjoyed as each day was a learning experience. She will best be remembered for being a devoted mother, daughter and friend to everyone. Her children were her life, and she did everything that she could to make their days and future bright. Gone too soon but she will always be loved and missed by everyone that came into her life as her legacy and life will live on forever through her precious sons.

Amanda is survived by her parents, Jeff and Mitzie Martin; her sons, Ryan Chase Rigney and Colton Carter Rigney. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends including her work family at Fleetwood.

A celebration of her life will be held at 3:00 PM Thursday, May 25, 2023 at Conner-Bowman Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Poland officiating. Her family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
