Americo Amicucci, Jr. age 73 of Hardy, Virginia passed away Saturday, March 28, 2020. He was born September 27, 1946 the son of the late Americo Amicucci and Frances Turco Amicucci in Yonkers, New York. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Marion; brothers, Anthony, Joseph, and Victor; and also two much loved nephews, Victor (Jimmy) and Johnny. Surviving are his children, Lyndsey A. Hubbard (Mark), Daniel Amicucci (Kelley), Andrea A. Fisher (Jason); grandchildren,
Devon Amicucci, Saxony Musgrove (Ben), Mark Hubbard, Halley, Jon-Drea, Isobella, Caden, Liam, Camdyn Amicucci, Ryan Simpson, Heaven Hess, Adreona Amicucci, Dylan Amicucci, Caleb Fisher, Alayna Fisher, Preston Fisher, Leah Fisher; one great-granddaughter, Aubrielle Flood. He is also survived by a brother, Andrew Amicucci (Diane); sister, Connie Norcia (John); sisters-in-law, Elneta and Barbara Amicucci; and numerous nieces and nephews. He joined the Air Force in 1966 and was stationed many places throughout Europe and the United States. He served his country for 20 years and retired in 1986. He then joined the family business and enjoyed working with his brothers and nephews. He later moved to Hardy, Virginia where he worked for Thompson Masonry until he retired. He has enjoyed retirement, fishing and spending time with his family. Graveside service with full military honors will be announced at a later day.
