Andrew Hezekiah ( Jiggs ) Sink

Andrew Hezekiah ( Jiggs ) Sink, age 72 of Rocky Mount died Thursday, September 30, 2010. Known by his family and friends as Jiggs, he retired from Erath Veneer with almost 30 years of service. His gift of telling a story and his ability to work on anything mechanical will be missed by all. He was born May 24, 1938 a son of the late Harden Butler and Cora Lee Hall Sink. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 51 years, Shirley Ann Dalton Sink; daughters, Mildred Ann Sink and Marsha Eileen Sink; sons, Cecil Wayne Sink, Rocky Gap and Bryan Keith Sink, Callaway; his grandchildren, Jordan Isaiah Sink, Nicholas Coleman Sink, Rocky Gap, Alys Nicole Sink, Hollins. Funeral services will be conducted from Lynch Conner-Bowman Funeral Chapel 3 p.m. Sunday, October 3, 2010 with Pastor Sharon Hartman officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Clearview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to Lights for Life c/o Town of Rocky Mount, 345 Donald Avenue, Rocky Mount, Virginia 24151.
