Angie Hazel Pagans

Angie Hazel Pagans, age 93, of Wirtz passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at Carilion Franklin Memorial Hospital. She was born March 31, 1919 the daughter of the late Henry David Carter and Jennie Clay Blakenship. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Wilson Pagans; five sisters and brothers, Lena Gough, Davis Carter, Elbert Carter, Clay Carter, and Ruby Dillon. She was employed for many years at M W Manufacturing. Surviving are one sister, Lois Perdue of Wirtz; one brother, Sam Carter of Rocky Mount; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Thursday at Lynch Conner-Bowman Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow in the Pagans Family Cemetery.
