Annie Clemons Foley “Diddy”, of Boones Mill and Roanoke, passed away Wednesday, December 18. She is the daughter of the late Hansford and Minnie Esther Clemons. She was also preceded in death by Brothers and Sisters-In Law; Dwight (Bubby) Clemons and Freeda, Carlos Clemons and Jeanie, and Albert “Bootsie” Clemons. She was a member of the Family Bible Fellowship. She is survived by her husband; Charlie Thomas Foley, Jr.; Daughters, Gloria Underwood and J. C., Peggy Ashe, Wanda Hale, Doris West and Alton (Bunky), Carol Shepherd and John(Buck); 11 Grandchildren, Shelby Johnson, Melissa Akers and Seth, Dawn Williams and Larry, Jennifer Pastrana and Arnold, G. E. Ashe, Jr. and Tavia, and Kenny Ashe and Amanda, John Hale, Jr. and Janis, Ricky Hale, Alton West, Scottie Foley and Tina, and Jimmy Foley; 15 Great-Grandchildren; Brother & Sisters; Nancy, Shirley Clemons and Carolyn, and Opal Wiley. Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, December 21, 2013 at Franklin Memorial Park with Pastor Barry Witt and Rev. James Steele officiating.
