Arnold "Big Boy" Ledbetter

Arnold Daniel Ledbetter “Big Boy”, 69, of Rocky Mount went to be with the Lord, Friday, August 18, 2017. He was born September 8, 1947 a son of the late J.G. Ledbetter, Sr and Hestell. He worked at MW Windows for 38 years. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by two brothers, Clifford “Pee Wee” Ledbetter and Jessie Wray; sister and brother-in-law, Carmen Delilah Hodges and David; two Nephews, Donnie “Philo” Ledbetter and Connie Wray Lee. Surviving him are his sons, Kevin Ledbetter and Rodney Ledbetter; brothers and sisters, Janie Murphy (Bishop), James Garfield Ledbetter, Jr., Phyllis Rigney and Donald “Duck” Ledbetter; sister-in-law, Sylbia Wray; grandchildren, Kendra, Kelsie, Rodney, Jr., and Chastity; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family will receive friends Thursday, August 24, 2017 from 4 to 6 PM at Conner-Bowman Funeral Home, 62 Virginia Market Place Drive (Route 220 @ Wirtz Road) Rocky Mount. A celebration of “Big Boy’s” life will be conducted at 6 PM following the receiving of friends. Burial will be private.
