Barbara Hedwig Holzer

Barbara Hedwig Holzer, age 93, of Moneta, VA passed away Friday, October 7, 2016. She was born April 15, 1923 the daughter of the late Zygmunt Kosiorek and Eugenia Arasimowicz Kosiorek. She was a graduate of the Newark City Hospital School of Nursing. Her husband, Adolph Edward Holzer, preceded her in death. She and her late husband are Charter Members of Trinity Ecumenical Parish. Surviving are her two daughters, Jeannie Villwock and husband, Bob of Huddleston, Lori Brinkley and husband, John of Goodview; son, Eric Holzer and wife, Nancy of Montgomery Village, Maryland; three grandchildren, Kevin Brinkley, Jesse Brinkley, Kyle Brinkley. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at Lynch Conner Bowman Funeral Home with Pastor Philip Bouknight officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Wednesday morning from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. before the service at the funeral home.
