Barbara Ellen Ashbrook Templeton, age 73 of Rocky Mount passed away Friday, August 25, 2017. She was born September 26, 1943 in Grundy to the late Hubert Clayton Ashbrook, Sr. and Hazel Virginia Ashbrook. Surviving is her loving husband William E. Templeton; son Terry Howell; stepdaughter Bonnie Templeton; sister Billie Joyce Owens; brother and sister-in-law Clay and Cindy Ashbrook. Her family respectfully requests no food. Memorial services will be held 7:00 p.m. Tuesday from Conner Bowman Funeral Home (Rt. 220 Chapel).
