Barbara Lee Whitehead Treadwell

Barbara Lee Whitehead Treadwell, age 68 of Wirtz, passed away on Friday, December 2, 2011 at her home. Barbara was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness of Moneta. She was born November 12, 1943 a daughter of the late Cicero and Cornilee Reid Whitehead. She is survived by her daughters, Yvette McPhatter, Sharon Smith, and Renée Smith; two grandchildren, Sean Smith and Leannette McPhatter; sister, Tina Young; brother and sister-in-law, Curtis and Gina Whitehead; three nieces, Curtia, Christina and Tamika Whitehead; She is also survived by many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be conducted from Conner-Bowman Funeral Home 6 p.m. Tuesday, December 6, 2011 with Mr. Billy Weaver officiating. Her family will be receiving friends prior to the service from 4 to 6 p.m. Graveside services will be conducted from Hillcrest Cemetery, Ahoskie, North Carolina 3 p.m. Wednesday, December 7, 2011.
