Betty L. Altice

Betty L. Altice, age 79, of Wirtz, went to be with the Lord, April 4, 2014. She was preceded in death by her parents Noah and Eva Nettles; Husband Wilford O. Altice; Daughter Kathy Amos; and Son-in-Law David Truman. Betty was a member of Red Valley United Methodist Church. She retired in 1998 from the Franklin County Public School system after 34 years of service. Mrs. Altice is survived by her daughter Tammi English and husband Henry; son Mike Altice and wife Gwen, son-in-law Ricky Amos; sister Mary Holland (John); special sister-in-law Mildred Altice; brothers-in-law Clayton Altice (Flora) and Herbert Altice (Estelle); Grandchildren Brian Altice (Carrie), Danielle King (Josh), Jason Altice (Casey), Mindy Bowman (Ivan), Zack Truman, Lauren English and Treavor English; and nine Great-Grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank all her Caregivers and a special thanks to Debra, Dorothy, Rachel, and Sherry. Funeral Services will be conducted from Conner-Bowman Funeral Home (Rt. 220 Chapel), 11:00 AM, Tuesday, April 8 with Rev. Jeff Richards and Rev. Joshua King officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park.
