Betty Pugh, 88, of Blue Ridge, joined her beloved "Bill" in heaven on Tuesday, November 24, 2020. She was predeceased by her parents, William and Odessa Trail Huff. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, daughter, Susan Dooley; sons, Pete Pugh (Debby), Mark Pugh (Tammy); beloved grandchildren, Brandon Pugh (Melissa), Brent Dooley, Amanda Roberts, David Pugh, Marissa Pugh, Daniel Pugh, Josh Ingram, Matthew Sink; beloved great-grandchildren, Madelyn Dooley, Kendall Roberts, Kylee Sink.
Betty retired from Appalachian Power Company after many years of dedicated service.
She was a devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother that always put her family first. She was happiest with Madelyn and Kendall in her lap or by her side. Just knowing that they were "okay" brought her peace.
A very special "Thank You" to Susan and Amanda for their loving care that allowed Betty to stay in her home and to Bonnie Vaterlaus for her kindness and willingness to help. The Family was Blessed with the wonderful staff and Pastor of Kindred Hospice.
A graveside services will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday, November 30, 2020 at Old Dominion Memorial Gardens, 7271 Cloverdale Road, Roanoke with the Rev. Murray Agee officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 in memory of Betty Pugh - "A Mother To All"
