Billy Douglas Holland

Billy (Bill) Douglas Holland, age 58, of Rocky Mount passed away Thursday, February 13, 2014. Bill was born on June 11, 1955. He graduated from Franklin County High School, and worked at PlyGem Windows (MW Windows) for the past 41 years. He loved to hunt, fish, play guitar and watch Nascar. He was preceded in death by his father Walter Herbert Holland; brother, Bobby Joe Holland; grandfather, Fonzi L. Holland; and grandmother, Minnie Lloyd. Bill is survived by his mother Nellie Young Holland; sister, Shirley Holland Messer; daughters, Hannah Holland Cruz (Daniel) and Chelsey Holland Magill (Evan); grandson, Kyle Magill; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Flowers will be accepted or contributions in his memory may be made to your favorite charity. A Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, February 18, 2014, at Conner Bowman Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow in the Holland Cemetery, on Route 40 West. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Monday at Conner-Bowman Funeral Home, 62 VA Market Place Dr., Rocky Mount, Virginia. 540-334-5151
