Billy Wayne Ramey

Billie Wayne Ramey, age 53 of Rocky Mount, passed away Saturday, February 28, 2015 in Lewis-Gale Hospital. He was preceded in death by his mother, Bernice Cox; father Bill Ramey; sister Betty Sue Phillips; brother Ray Eugene Ramey. He is survived by his lovely wife Ala Sue Ramey; son and daughter-in-law Anthony and Crystal Ramey; Brothers and sisters-in-law, Luther & Gail Ramey, Allen & Anetta Ramey, Jamie & Lisa Ramey and Scott & Terra Ramey, and Freddie Dean & Tammy; sisters and brothers-in-law; Ora and Jackie Hubbard, Faye & David Hobbs, and Penny Ramey; sister-in-law Sheila Ramey; six nephews and ten nieces; special relatives and friends, Sherry Ann Banks, Michael Cundiff, Ann Weaver, Lorleen, Robert & Michael Young, Matt & Josh Mitchell. He is also survived by many other family members and friends. Funeral services will be conducted from Conner-Bowman Funeral Home Chapel 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 4, 2015 with Dr. Jackie Spence officiating. Interment will follow in the Hall Family Cemetery.
