Blanche Rosie Webster

Blanche Rosie Wray Webster age 95 of Callaway, passed away Thursday, December 20, 2012. She was born March 14, 1917, the daughter of the late Charlie Thomas Wray and Bessie Mills Wray. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Thomas Webster; two daughters, Barbara Webster and Doris Webster Troy; one brother Luther Wray; three sisters Gracie Hodges, Evelyn Hodges and Myrtle Webster. She was a member of Monte Vista Church of the Brethren. Blanche spent her younger years as a teacher at Monte Vista School and was very involved with the Women’s fellowship and church youth group. She especially enjoyed giving rides to all of the little children to and from Bible school. Blanche devoted her life to taking care her family. She remained young at heart throughout her entire life and loved to joke around with people. Her beautiful smile and wonderful heart will be missed by many. Surviving is her Granddaughter Stacy Price-Hodges and husband David; great-granddaughter Maelyn Rose Price; sister Helen Maro; brother-in-law Charles Marvin Webster; many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted from Monte Vista Church of the Brethren Thursday at 2pm with Rev. Jimmy Robinson officiating. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.
