Bobby Culbreth “Cubby” Jackson, age 79, of Snow Creek Community passed away Thursday, January 3, 2013 at home with his loving family. He was born March 8, 1933 in Pittsylvania County the son of the late David Terry Jackson and Gertrude Motley Jackson. He was also preceded in death by three sisters and brothers-in-law, Glen Cole and husband, H.J., Dorothy Blair and husband, Bill, Jean Gaudette and husband Darryl and one brother and sister-in-law, Dale Jackson and wife, Georgia. He lived in Danville, VA where he was in the automotive business for 38 years. Surviving are his wife of 57 years, Louise Radford Jackson; son, David Terry Jackson of Louisa, VA; daughter, Penny Duley and husband, Travis of Richmond; two grandchildren, Austin and Hannah Duley; brother-in-law, Paul Radford and wife, Hettie; sister-in-law, Jean Tatum; sister-in-law, Frances Waugh, very special sister-in-law, Audrey Mitchell and husband, M. T.; sister-in-law, Betty Radford; special nephews, Charlie Mitchell, Bobby Radford; also many, many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday, January 6, 2013, at Lynch Conner Bowman Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Soyars, Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday from to 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. before the service.
