Brady Lee Wray

Brady Lee (Dootsie) Wray, age 81, of Rocky Mount passed away Friday, November 8, 2013. He was born May 14, 1932 the son of the late Bob Lester Wray and Margaret Mae Greenwood Wray. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Clingenpeel Wray and four brothers, George Wray, Posey Wray, John (Shangy) Wray, Elwood Wray. Brady retired from Overnite Transportation with 23 years of dedicated service. Surviving are two daughters Sherry Foutz and her husband, Rick of Vinton, Linda Booth and her husband, Jeff of Roanoke; granddaughter, Hayley B. Simmons and husband, Wayne of Maysville, NC; caregiver and friend, Evelyn L. Wray, RN of Roanoke; two step-sons, Todd and Greg Clingenpeel and their families; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Monday at Conner Bowman Funeral Home with Rev. Joe Dillon officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Monday from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. before the service starts.
