Brenda Nicely Forbes

Brenda Nicely Forbes, age 79 of Rocky Mount, passed away April 16, 2025. She was born September 1,1945 to the late Paul and Hilda Snyder Nicely. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son Jeff Nicely. Brenda enjoyed reading and traveling, especially going to the beach. She looked forward to local family outings as well but always expected everyone to be there because she loved her family.

Surviving is her loving husband of over 30 years Perry Forbes; a niece Karen; sisters-in-law Sandra, Barbara, Rosemary and Kathy; special friends Elizabeth, Frank, Hope, Kathy C., Kathy W., Peggy, Reva, Robin, Emma, Sherri and Sue; her dog Bentley; extended family and friends too numerous to mention.

Her family would like to thank the staff of Franklin Healthcare for their love and care, In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
