Carl Hubbard Hall

Carl Hubbard Hall, age 96 of Redwood, passed away Friday March 27, 2015. He was born July 23, 1918 to the late Owen Hall and Annie Hubbard Hall. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Lenord, Sidney and Terry Hall; sisters Hazel Maxey and Ruby McBride; his loving wife Mary Lee Smith Hall and son-in-law JW Hall. Surviving are his daughter Alice Faye Hall; grandson Tim Hall and wife Jody; great-granddaughters and the love of his life, Casey Hall (Matt Mullins) and Carla Hall; sister and brother-in-law Annie and L.G. Cassell of Martinsville; brother and sister-in-law Van and Faye Hall of Linden, Texas; sister-in-law Doris T. Hall; many nieces, nephews and his many friends at Franklin Muffler. His family would like to especially thank all of his home health nurses and Carilion Hospice of Franklin County for their care. In lieu of flowers, his family asks that donation be made to either Doe Run Christian Church or to Glade Hill Baptist Church. Funeral services will be conducted from Lynch Conner-Bowman Funeral Home (town chapel) 2:00 p.m. Monday with Rev. Michael Stump and Rev. David Long officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. His family will be receiving friends from 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Lynch Conner-Bowman Funeral Home, 140 Floyd Ave., Rocky Mount, VA (540) 483-5533.
