Carl Wythe Johnson

Carl Wythe Johnson age 78 of Rocky Mount passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2024 at his home. He was born on August 21, 1945 a son of the late George Doyle Johnson and Etta Frances Sink. He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Ovilla Marie Hopkins and Eleanor Akers; and one brother, John Hamilton Johnson.

Carl is survived by his siblings, Bayes Johnson (Carol), Leo Johnson (Charlotte), Althea Perdue (Sammy) and G.L. Johnson (Mary Jane); special friends, Donnie Woody and Dan Lynch; his canine companion, Boots Johnson. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and many friends.

Carl's wishes were to be cremated. Service of celebration will be held at a later date.
