Carlton Lee "Jeff" Davis

Carlton Lee “Jeff” Davis, age 89, of Glade Hill passed away Sunday, September 16, 2018. He was born September 25, 1928 the son of the late Harry C. Davis, Sr. and Lucille Wray Davis. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Benjamin Davis, Harry C. Davis, Jr.; sister, Brenda Quesenberry. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army serving in the Korea War. Surviving are daughter, Shelia Harris (Garth); son, Danny L. Davis (Linda); grandchildren, Danny Davis, Jr., Tina Davis Dixon, Austin Webb; step grandchildren, Amanda Harris, Hunter Thompson; eight great grandchildren; brother, Alvin R. Davis (Linda); sister, Linda Young (Donald); sister in law, Casteen Davis; brother in law, Frank Quesenberry; two special nieces. Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 P.M. Thursday at Lynch Conner Bowman Funeral Home with Pastor Grover “Jody” Pollard officiating. Interment will follow in the Davis Family Cemetery with Military Honors by the U. S. Army Honor Guard. The family will receive friends Thursday afternoon from 2:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. at the funeral home before the service starts.
