Carrie Young Altice

Carrie Young Altice, age 82 of Rocky Mount passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2013. She was a daughter of the late Robert A. and Ocie Yopp Young and was also preceded in death by a daughter, Becky Altice; sister, Mabel Flinton; and two brothers, Bill and Ed Young. Surviving are her sons, Clarence Robert, Andrew, Terry and Mike Altice; her daughters Bertha Lombardo, Carol Altice, Pat Neighbors and Vicky Altice; brothers, David and Wesley Young. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted from Lynch Conner-Bowman Funeral Chapel 3:00 p.m. Monday, December 16, 2013 with Rev. Benton M. Jefcoat officiating. Interment will follow in the Young-Hale Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning 2:00 p.m. at Lynch Conner-Bowman Funeral Home, 140 Floyd Avenue, Rocky Mount, Virginia.
