Charles “Charlie” Louis Hall, 65, of Boones Mill, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 22, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Addie Hall and his sister, Sallie Shelor.
Charlie was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother who loved his family dearly. He was a talented plumber and all-around handyman. He enjoyed muscle cars, airplanes and never lacked for a joke or historical fact. He loved books, especially westerns and adventure novels by Louis L’Amour and Clive Cussler. It was a rare occasion to find him without a paperback edition in his back pocket and a headlamp, so that even the darkness couldn’t keep him from those next few pages. As his story comes to a close, his family and friends will cherish their time together and the joy and laughter he brought to each chapter of their lives.
He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Rhonda Hall; daughter, Emily Hall Agnew (Philip); grandchildren, Theodore and Evelyn Agnew; Sisters, Patricia Keatts (Billy) and Marie Bishop (Doug); Brother, John Hall III (Janet); and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 am Wednesday August 25th at Conner-Bowman Funeral Home with Pastor Billy Shively officiating. Interment will be private at Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Due to the resurgence of COVID-19 and its variant, the family has requested that masks be worn while at the funeral home even if you have been vaccinated.
