Chris C. Cooper

Christopher “Chris” C. Cooper, age 43 of Rocky Mount, passed away Thursday, November 28, 2013. Chris was preceded in death by grandparents Joe and Tillie Cooper; grandmother Rosa Shutt; grandfather Hoten Shockey. He was also preceded in death by his wife Angela Boothe Cooper. Chris was a very loving person and a devoted father. He was employed with MW Windows/Plygem for 14 years. Surviving are his sons Colton Ryan Cooper and Logan Wyatt Cooper; his parents Roger and Patty Cooper; his brother Brian Cooper and his children Cameron and Brittany; many special aunts, uncles and cousins; numerous other family and friends. Chris always loved raising money for children at Christmas each year. Therefore, in lieu of flowers, his family asks that this Christmas, donate to your local Bikes for Tykes organization. His family also kindly request no food. Funeral services will be conducted from Conner-Bowman Funeral Home (Rt. 220 Chapel) 2:00 p.m. Wednesday with Rev. Doug Hayes and Mr. Mark Anderson officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park. His family will receive friends Wednesday from 1-2 prior to the service at Conner-Bowman Funeral Chapel, Rt. 220, 62 Virginia market Place Dr., Rocky Mount. www.connerbowman.com
