Clinton Tosh, Sr. age 76 of Rocky Mount, passed away Saturday, February 12, 2011. Clinton was the proud owner of the Main Street Amoco for over 55 years and was known to many as Mr. Service Station. He was born March 1934 to the late Benjamin B. Tosh and Mary Williams Tosh. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers Edgar & Alvin Tosh. Clinton is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Gladys Thompson Tosh, daughters Merle Meadows (Harry), Krista Tosh Harvey (Jeff), Kimberly Marie White (Mark Lawrence); Sons Enos Tosh, Jr. (Tammy), Barry Tosh (Dannielle), Keith Benjamin Tosh (Jaimie), Jodie Clinton Tosh; Stepson Michael Sigmon (Marie), stepdaughter Donna Hodges (Jerry); Numerous grandchildren; special grandchild Noah Daniel Tosh; one great-grandchild; Brothers & Sisters J.C. Tosh (Juanita), Mayree Tosh Robertson (Taylor), Billy Tosh (Shirley), Margie Tosh Prillaman (Edwin), Joyce Tosh Ross (David); sister-in-law Mildred Tosh. Funeral services will be conducted from Lynch Conner-Bowman Funeral Chapel 11 a.m. Monday, February 14, 2011 with Dr. Jackie Spence and Rev. Deroy Campbell officiating. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery.
