Clyde Thomas Dillon

Clyde Thomas Dillon, 82, of Wirtz, passed away peacefully Thursday, June 22, 2017. He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Sandra Louise Dillon; his son, David Wayne Dillon; parents, Robert Moses Dillon and Mary Kate Ellis Dillon. He was also preceded in death by sisters, Gladys Williams, Lena Williams, Effie Altice, Mary Barbour, Nannie Stultz, Donie Robertson; and brothers, Harry, Landon and Ed Dillon. Surviving are his son, Robert Dillon and wife, Lisa of Wirtz. grandson, Jason Dillon and wife, Kayla of Brooklyn NY. grandson, Travis Dillon and wife, Crystal of Lewistown, MT. great granddaughters, Emily and Amelia. sisters, Etheleen Layman and Nina Prillaman. Many brother and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Carilion Franklin Memorial Hospital for all the kind and compassionate care provided to Clyde over the last few months. Visitation will be Sunday night from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Monday at Lynch Conner Bowman with Rev. Joe Dillon officiating.
