Colleen J. Ingram

Colleen J. Ingram, age 92 of Ferrum, passed away Friday, February 9, 2018. She was born December 5, 1925 to the late Sam and Daisy Jones. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter Marjorie Barbour; sister Elizabeth Prillaman and brother Houston Jones. Ms. Ingram retired from DuPont and was a dedicated member of Republican Primitive Baptist Church. She was a very loving grandmother. Surviving are grandson Christopher Barbour; granddaughter Donna Young (Jeff); son-in-law C.L. Barbour; great-grandson Barry Tucker. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Planned Pethood of Rocky Mount. Funeral services will be conducted from Lynch Conner-Bowman Funeral Home (town chapel) 2:00 p.m. Wednesday with Elder Junior Conner officiating. Interment will follow in Henry Memorial Park. Her family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 1pm on Wednesday at Lynch Conner-Bowman Funeral Home, 140 Floyd Avenue, Rocky Mount. (540)483-5533
