Connie Huneycutt

Constance Savoca Huneycutt age 79 of Rocky Mount passed away at her home on Monday, June 7, 2021 surrounded by her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and was an avid camper. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting, working with crafts and spending time with her family. The joy of her life was “Sophie” her canine companion that never left her side. Connie was born on June 4, 1942 a daughter of the late Joseph W. and Helen Teresa “DePaolo Savoca. She was also preceded in death by her loving partner and companion, Pat Mullery; two brothers, Victor Savoca and Patrick Savoca; her sister and best friend in Life, Barbara Shipe; grandson, Matthew Cannon; son-in-law, Rodney Cundiff. Connie is survived by her daughters, Debra Sauls (Tommy), Teri Manis (Joe) and Kristie Cundiff; her grandchildren, Patty Rodrigues (Bill), Robert “Bubba” Gump, Cody Gump, Conner Gump, Halie Cundiff, Hollie Cundiff and Michael Manis; great-grandchildren, Tommy Rodriguez, Heleana Rodriguez and Ellen Rodriguez; special cousin, Mae (Mazie) Lake whom she shared a bond with like no other. She is also survived by other family members including special nieces, Susan Miller (Kenny) and Donna Richards (Lloyd); and many friends. Services will private.
