Corabelle Jones Remle

Corabelle “Belle” Jones Ferris O’Neal Remle, age 96 of Roanoke, passed away quietly and peacefully from this life to be with Jesus on Tuesday, July 8, 2014. She was preceded in death by a wonderful husband Harry Remle. She loved life, God, her family, friends but especially enjoyed teaching young children. She made learning fun and enjoyable and most all her students loved her. Mrs. Remle spent 38 years teaching, mostly in Roanoke County. She was such a vibrant woman who enjoyed life to the max. “ She will be missed. We will always have very fond memories. We love you and miss you already! For the Lord, He is good and his mercies are new every morning!” Surviving are her children Garland Christopher Ferris, Jr., Christina Belle Ferris, Amanda Ferris Davis, and Ellen Ferris Dearing (James); grandchildren Matthew Brian Davis, Emily Dawn Crowley; great-grandbabies Kayleah Elizabeth Belle Crowley, Amberlee Elizabeth Davis, and Alexander Braeden Davis. Graveside services will be conducted 12 noon on Saturday from Sherwood Memorial Park, Salem with Chaplain Rick Poland officiating.
