Daisy LaPrade

Daisy Ann Bussey LaPrade, 84, of Rocky Mount, passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2013. She was born on November 14, 1928, the daughter of the late James C. Bussey and Bessie Hodges Bussey. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Henry "Bud" Laprade. Surviving are her two children, son, Darryl LaPrade and his wife, Rhonda, of Rocky Mount; daughter, Judy Harman and her husband, John, of Deltona, FL; three grandchildren, Mattie LaPrade, Heidi Greene and Amanda Kelly; two sisters, Juanita Cooper, of Rocky Mount, and Bessie Laprade, of Rocky Mount; one brother, Everette Bussey, of Rocky Mount; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Thursday, January 10, 2013, at Lynch Conner-Bowman Funeral Home with Pastor Richard W. Thomas, Sr. officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial park. The family will receive friends on Wednesday night, January 9, 2013, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
