Dale Rex Greve

Dale Rex Greve, age 81 of Rocky Mount died Monday, November 7, 2011 in a Roanoke hospital. He was born January 24, 1930, a son of the late Arnold William and Marie Sell Greve. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Cynthia Ann Greve; brother, Arnold Greve, Jr.; sisters, Joan Weinkauf and Mary Jean Greve Waldberg. Mr. Greve earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Michigan Tech, worked 41 years with Georgia Pacific where he was an Engineer in Gypsum, and he was a member of Rocky Mount Presbyterian Church. He is survived by his wife, Ann L. Greve; sons and daughters-in-law, William Rex and Katy Greve, Seattle, Washington, Richard Dale and Laura Greve, Boston, MA; his grandchildren, Evan Thomas Greve, Cameron Greve, Zoie Greve and Aaden Greve. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Rocky Mount Presbyterian Church, 175 Floyd Avenue, Rocky Mount, Virginia 24151. A memorial service will be conducted from Rocky Mount Presbyterian Church 4 p.m. Thursday, November 10, 2011 with Dr. Russ Merritt officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends following the service in the Sunday School Building.
