Dallas Marie Dalton Hodges

Dallas Marie Dalton Hodges, age 89, of Ferrum, passed away Thursday, December 14, 2017, at Franklin Health and Rehabilitation Center. Born in Wythe County, January 25, 1928, she was a daughter of the late Lauza Wade and Virgil Luther Dalton. Also preceding her in death was her husband, Reggie Carlton Hodges, sister, Christine Solomon and nephew, Virgil Eugene Solomon. She was retired from DuPont and was a member of Republican Primitive Baptist Church. Surviving are her daughter, Velvet Hodges Prillaman and husband, Richard of Rocky Mount, granddaughter, Vitalina Faith Prillaman of Rocky Mount, and nephew Walter Solomon and wife Carmen of Seymour, TN. The funeral service will be held at 11 A.M. Monday, December 18, 2017, at Lynch Conner-Bowman Chapel with Dr. Stan Parris officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Sunday at Lynch Conner-Bowman Funeral Home, 140 Floyd Ave., Rocky Mount, VA 24151.
