David Ray Cooper

David Ray Cooper, 65, of Martinsville, VA (Snow Creek Community) passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at his home. He was born November 27, 1952 the son of the late Wiley G. Cooper and Annie Dee Carter Cooper. He was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Ann Cooper and a brother, Thomas Cooper. He was a farmer all his life and loved deer hunting. Surviving are three brothers Charles Cooper, Dean Cooper (Linda), Billy Mac Cooper; several nieces and nephews; several great nieces and nephews; also many special friends. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Thursday at Lynch Conner Bowman Funeral Home with Dr. T. A. Powell officiating. Interment will follow in the Cooper Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday night from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home and other times at the home of his nephew, Jesse Cooper.
