David Lewis Diggs

David Lewis Diggs age 59 of Wirtz passed away on Monday, February 1, 2021 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. David was born August 11, 1961 a son of the late Edgar Diggs and Mary Diggs Murphy. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Annette Johnson; step-dad, Jimmy Murphy. David was a loving husband, father and pawpaw. He will be missed by all. He is survived by his wife, Beth Diggs; daughters, Amanda and Scott Dunn, Megan and Brendan Perdue; his grandbabies, Addy Dunn, Liam Dunn and Justin Perdue; his siblings, Cindy and Clay Ashbrook, Brenda and Rick Moore, Eddie and Ginny Diggs; special fur baby, Cookie Diggs; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday, February 4, 2021 at Conner-Bowman Funeral Home with Pastor Elmer Clemons officiating. Private graveside services will conducted in Forest Rest Natural Cemetery at Mountain View Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 1 p.m. until service time. Due to the mandates in place by our Governor in reference to COVID-19, we will be following the guidelines for social distancing and face masks.
