David Stone Young

David Stone Young, age 69 of Penhook passed away on Tuesday, February 23, 2016. He was born on February 16, 1947 a son of the late Morris H. and Ruby Adkins Young, and was also preceded in death by his brother, James E. Young. He proudly served his country in the U. S. Army. Surviving are his children, David M. Young, Mark Young and Stacy Young; grandchildren, Kayla Young and Ethan Young; sisters, Bonnie Y. Swanson and Eleanor Y. Spencer. He was also survived by his former wife and companion, Doris Young and many other family members and friends. Graveside services will be conducted from the Young Family Cemetery (15736 Snow Creek Road, Penhook) 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 27, 2016 with Pastor Derek Layman officiating and military honors. The family will receive friends Friday, February 26th from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lynch-Conner-Bowman Funeral Home (Town Chapel).
