Dawn Wray Self

Dawnor “Dawn” Elizabeth Self, age 72 of Wirtz, VA passed away Monday, June 11, 2018. She was the daughter of the late Joe Thomas and Vera Elizabeth Wray. Dawn worked for Franklin County Retail Merchants Association for 49 years and was a member, tournament director and secretary for Blackwater Bowhunters Inc. Dawn is survived by her husband Aubrey “A.L.” Self; sons, Aubrey “Tommy” Self (Tracy), Andy Tilton Self (Amy); two grandchildren, William “Dennis Reed” Self, Pasleigh Roberts; special nieces and nephew, Lori & Gary Wray; and many other nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM, Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at Conner-Bowman Funeral Home (Rt.220) with Pastor Joe Dillon officiating. Interment will follow at Franklin Memorial Park.
