Dee Moran Kalmbach

Beedie Dee Bowles Moran Kalmbach "Granny Dee" 92 of Troutville formerly of Boones Mill and Oliver BC Canada drew her last earthly breath on Saturday May 14, 2022 to join her heavenly walk with her Savior Jesus Christ but her most happy moment was to see her Granddaddy Bowles. Dee was born on December 27, 1929 and is preceded by her husbands Flemon Moran and Emil Kalmbach along with three sons Michael Alan, Jeffrey Lynn and Butch Moran, step-granddaughter Kim Oakes and many other family members. Left to cherish her memory are her children Vana McClanahan and Euell Moran (LaVerne) two daughter-in-laws Pat Moran and Dana Moran. Grandchildren Alan & Amy McClanahan, Ashley & Cory (Diddle) Montgomery, Kelly Moran & fiancé Amber Light, Jamie (Kelly) Altice, Tony (Rhonda) Altice & Wayne (Carrie) Altice. 12 great grandchildren Jasmine, Etta Claire & Oliver Montgomery, Ella, Huntleigh & Aubreigh McClanahan, Cheyenne, Jimmy, Abby Altice, Ashton Altice (Tim) Howard, Sophia & Aubrie. Dee is also survived by her sister Rachel Gokee , brother LC (Debbie) Overfelt and 2 sisters-in-law Carol & Sue Overfelt. She is survived by step grandchildren & step great grandchildren, nieces, nephews & cousins as well. A special thank you to Carilion Hospices and Mom's team Alan, Brandon, Jasmine & Seth. Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at Conner-Bowman Funeral Chapel with Chaplin Seth McCormick officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 2 hours prior to service beginning at 12:00 PM. and other times at the home of Euell and LaVerne Moran. Flowers are nice but Mom's always said "send me flowers while I'm living to enjoy" so the family requests donations in lieu of flowers be to Boones Mill United Methodist Church, P.O.
