Dennis Lee St Clair

Dennis Lee St Clair, age 65 of Wirtz passed away on Friday, May 5, 2017 at his home. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and loved his fishing and his back-yard tinkering with his pickup truck. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. Dennis touched everyone he came in contact with and will be missed by all as he was loved by all. Born July 24, 1951 in Beckley, West Virginia a son of the late John Wesley and Nina Mills St Clair and also preceded in death by a brother, Calvin St Clair; and a sister, Elsie Reeves. He is survived by his loving wife, Terry Rowland St Clair; his sons, Dennis Lee St Clair II, of the home, Brandon Hardy, Gretna; his daughters, Lisa Marie Boothe (Bo), Glade Hill, Denise Leann St Clair (Tim), Star Lynn Arthur (Jeremy), Wirtz; grandchildren, Aaron, Kevin Ray, Autumn, Brittany, Michael, Cynthia, Ben, Chris, Ellie and Macie; great-grandchildren, Dexter, Caidence (Caty Bird), Axton and Xane. He is also survived by his brothers, John Wesley St Clair, Jr. (Dawn), Wirtz, Paul Anthony St Clair (Joyce), Moneta; sister, Linda Ward (Thomas), Cool Ridge, WV; his former wife, Sharon Lewis; many nieces, nephews, other relatives including his special nephew, Sean Young, and many friends. Graveside services with military honors will be conducted from the Mitchell Family Cemetery (Burnt Chimney Road) 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 10, 2017 with Dr. Jackie Spence officiating. The family will be receiving friends at Dennis’s home. Arrangements will be announced by Conner-Bowman Funeral Home, 62 VA Market Drive (Route 220 @ Wirtz Road) Rocky Mount.
