Devin Xzavier Brandon

Devin Xzavier Brandon, 19, of Rocky Mount, VA passed away Wednesday, November 17, 2021. He was born August 14, 2002. He is survived by his mom, Penny Walker; dad, William Brandon; four brothers, Desmond, Deontae, Deshon, Demitri; two sisters, Desiree, Desianna; grandpa, PaPa Rick; grandmother, Queenie Brandon (Wilfred); aunt, Nicole Walker (C.W.); uncle, Richard Brandon; cousins, Daniel Hutson (Jasmine, Gray and Mila), Nicholas Cooper, Alley Deshazo; several more aunts, uncles and cousins; three best friends, Devin Coleman, David English, Devin Clements; extended family members, Lola Hodges, Jodie Hodges and Stormy Hodges. “Heaven has gained another angel, It’s so hard not to just scream, Why and this is so unfair, But we know that this was God’s Plan, It’s not to be understood. Devin was the light in dark place. He was loved by so many. Devin had ambition and goals and dreams. He was a hard worker, employed by Ply Gem. When he wasn’t working he was spending time with his family and friends, just having a good time. He will be missed dearly, gone but certainly not forgotten, we will be together again one day.” Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Monday at Lynch Conner Bowman Funeral Home with Rodney Newbill officiating. Interment will follow in the Family Cemetery at the family home.
