Dixie Marie Joy Walker

Dixie Marie Joy Walker, born January 16, 2024 of Milton, Florida passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2024. She was the first born of Brysa and Dawson Walker.

She was preceded in death by her great-great-grandparents, Robert Carl and Beatrice Joy Finney, Charles and Doris Brewer; her great-grandmother, Pearly Smith; her grandmother, Angela Walker; and her great-uncle, Berkley Whitlock.

Dixie is survived by her parents, Brysa and Dawson Walker; her grandparents, Ron and Lisa Howell, and Melvin Walker; her great-grandparents, Charles and Diana Brewer, and Sharon and Ron Howell; her aunts, Harlee, Raighan, and Trinity Howell, and Darla Walker.

The family would like to say a big thank you to anyone who prayed over her in pregnancy, and anyone who knew to pray once she was born.

Graveside services will be conducted 3 PM Monday, February 5, 2024 at Maple Grove Cemetery, Ferrum. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 PM at the funeral home and then proceed to the cemetery.
