Donald E. Grantham

Donald E. Grantham, age 83, of Callaway went to be with the Lord Tuesday, March 6, 2018. Don was preceded in death by his sister, Jewell Dunmore and a son, Steve Grantham. Don was a dedicated member of Fairmont Baptist Church where he served in many capacities over the years including Trustee, Deacon and Sunday School Teacher. He was the owner and operator of Ridgerunner Motors for 16 years and was always quick to help anyone in need but he always put his family first. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Barbara A. Grantham; children, Patricia G. Dudley (Michael), Michael Grantham (Donna) and Darla Grantham-Guilliams (Gary Brown); Grandchildren, Steve, Danielle (whom both considered him a father), Scott, Keith, Brad, Derrick, Darren, Nicki, Kimberly, and Justin; 23 Great-Grandchildren; special friends, Buddy and Paige White and Fred and Linda Jamison. Funeral services will be conducted from Faith Fellowship Church 3:00 P.M. Friday, March 9, 2018 with Pastor Gary Hoffman officiating. Interment will follow at Fairmont Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service beginning at 1:00 PM Friday at the church.
