Doris Lee Hambrick

Doris L. Musgrove Hambrick, age 84 of Rocky Mount, passed away Friday, March 21, 2025.She was born November 17, 1940 to the late Archie and Annie Perdue Musgrove. In addition to her parents, she was was preceded in death by her husband Charles T. Hambrick; sisters Rose Hollaway, Louise Musgrove, Annie Hodges and Ellen Turner; brothers Benjamin Walter Musgrove and James Wayne Musgrove. Doris was a loving and caring person. She especially enjoyed caring for children.

Surviving are her sisters Victoria Smithers, Betty Jo Nuckolds (Larry); brother Archie Thomas Musgrove (Linda); sisters-in-law Kathy Musgrove and Rosie Musgrove; several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Carilion Hospice of Franklin County for their care..

Funeral services will be conducted from Conner-Bowman Funeral Home 2:00 p.m. Tuesday with Rev. Denver Turner officiating. Interment will follow in the Old Liberty Cemetery. Her family will be receiving friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday at Conner-Bowman Funeral Home, Rt. 220 Rocky Mount
