Doris Hall Mills

Doris Hall Mills, age 78 of Callaway passed away Thursday, January 6, 2011 at her home. She retired as Cafeteria Manager from Callaway Elementary School. Born December 19, 1932, she was a daughter of the late Harry Lee and Irene Hyler Hall and was preceded in death by her husband Noah E. Mills, Jr.; and her sister, Dorothy Lee Hill. Surviving are her sons and daughters-in-law, Ronald Dale and Vicki Mills, Jerome M., Sr. Jerry and Judy Mills; her grandchildren, Kristoffer Mills, Derek Mills and Jerome Mills, Jr.; one great-grandchild, Liam Mills; brother-in-law, Bill Hill; many other family members in Eden, North Carolina; her church family at Community Christian Church of Christ; a host of extended family and friends. Funeral services will be conducted from Conner-Bowman Funeral Chapel 3 p.m. Saturday with Minister Larry Meador officiating. Interment will follow in the Mills Family Cemetery. Following the graveside service, a reception will be provided at the family home. Her family will receive friends Saturday beginning at 1 p.m. until service time at the funeral home and other times at the home.
