Earl Duie Sink

Earl D. Sink age 78 of Bassett (Franklin County) passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 in Lewis-Gale Medical Center following a lengthy illness. He was born on August 13, 1939 a son of the late George Kenneth and Maude Flowers Sink, and was also preceded in death by five brothers and four sisters. Earl is survived by his wife, Aileen Gardner Sink; his sons and daughter-in-law, Earl Matthew Sink and Sheldon Mark Sink (Virginia); his grandson, Bradley Harris and his daughter, Danielle Harris; sister, Margaret Robertson; his beloved canine companion, Maggie Mae. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, other family members and friends. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorial contributions be made in Earl’s name to Fork Mountain United Methodist Church, 2024 Fork Mountain Road, Bassett, Virginia 24055. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 21, 2017 at Lynch Conner-Bowman Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Henry Memorial Park.
