Eddie C. Short

Eddie Short, age 64 of Callaway passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2015. He was born January 7, 1951 and was preceded in death by his father, Edward Short. Eddie was a carpenter by trade who enjoyed playing softball, watching Nascar and messing around on his tractor but most of all he loved spending time with his granddaughter Savannah. He is survived by his loving wife Judy Short; daughter Heather Short; grand-daughter Savannah Short; mother, Vivian Short; brothers Randy Short & Tim Short; Sister Lori Nelson; in-laws Nancy Kenjerski, John Young, Joel Young, Fran Cavanaugh, Sue Coolbaugh, Bob Young; & several aunts, uncles & nephews. Memorial Service will be conducted Saturday, July 11 at 3:00 PM at St. Peters Episcopal Church with The Reverend John H. Heck officiating. Inurnment will follow at Pigg River Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time beginning at 2:00 PM.
