Edith F. Jarrett

Edith Furrow Jarrett, age 75, of Callaway, VA passed away Tuesday night, September 24, 2013. She was born September 18, 1938 the daughter of the late Alfred Dara “A. D.” Furrow and Gertrude Lumpkins Furrow. She was a member of New Hope United Methodist Church. She worked for 23 years at Eli Lily in Roanoke and also many years at M W Windows before retiring. Surviving are her husband of 38 years, Ted Jarrett of Callaway; step daughter, Donna Barnes of Pennsylvania; special nephew/grandson, Cody Boyd; lots of cousins and friends. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Friday at Lynch Conner Bowman Funeral Home with Mr. Walter Hughes, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Thursday night from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. The family request that no food be brought to the home.
