Edna Pat Wray

Edna “Pat” Wray, age 82, of Rocky Mount passed away Monday, December 30, 2013. She was born January 28, 1931 the daughter of the late John Thomas Skinnell and Irene Hauter Skinnell. She was preceded in death by her husband, James “Harry” Wray and her daughter, Wanda W. Diller. Surviving are her children, John Norman Wray, Ann W. Cundiff, Doreen Dillon and husband, Jerry, Mary Jane Price and husband, Tom, James Harry Wray, Jr. and wife, Mary Thelma; nine grandsons; two granddaughters; seventeen great grandchildren; one great great grandson; beloved nephew, Butch Jensen and wife, Kay; a host of nieces and nephews; special dog, “Little Girl”. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Thursday at Lynch Conner Bowman Funeral Home with Rev. William “Bill” Pagan and Rev. Tommy Barrett officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Wednesday night from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home and other times at her home, 1481 Booker T. Washington Highway. There will be a meal for family and friends after the burial at Flint Hill United Methodist Church.
