Eliza Maurine Smith Manning

Eliza Maurine Smith Manning, age 92 of Glade Hill, VA passed away on Monday, January 6, 2025. 

She was born May 31, 1932 a daughter of the late John Smith and Amanda Maxey Smith. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Fletcher Manning; son, Milton Manning; and granddaughters, Jenny Holland and Shannon Manning.

Mrs. Manning is survived by her children, Brenda Johnson (Albert), Cathy Pagans, Dennis Manning (Curly), Jesse Manning (Hilda), Sharon Holland (Jimmy) and David Manning; grandchildren, Wesley Johnson (Kim), Tracy Pagans, Tony Pagans (Sandy), Timmy Holland (Jessica), Scottie Manning (Jaime), Travis Manning (Cassidy), and Teresa Davis; 13 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted 2 PM Friday, January 10, 2025, at Conner-Bowman Funeral Home with Pastor Becky Mann Wheeler officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. Her family will receive friends Thursday evening, January 9, 2025 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM.
