Elizabeth Young

Elizabeth M. Young, age 64 of Rocky Mount passed away Tuesday, September 24, 2013. She was preceded in death by her father, Marvin MountCastle; two sisters, Debra MountCastle and Paula Blankenship; two infant brothers. She is survived by her husband, John Wesley Young; daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Tommy Amos, Troutville; son and daughter-in-law, Bruce and Frances Young, Ridgeway; her mother, Beulah MountCastle; her grandchildren, Savannah, Brooke, and Courtney; and her sister, Cathy MountCastle. A Memorial Service will be conducted from Bethany United Methodist Church, 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 29, 2013 with Rev. Bud Nichols officiating. The family has requested that flowers be omitted and for those desiring, please make a donation to charity of choice in her name.
