Elsie Louise Atkins (Ann) Hall, age 93 of Roanoke and formerly of Franklin County passed away at her home on Wednesday, September 25, 2019.
She was born on March 4, 1926 a daughter of the late Shafter and Lucille Underwood Atkins. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles John Hall; sons, Terry Kelly and Daniel Hall; brothers, Moyer Atkins and Arch Atkins; sisters, Mary Maulden (Ormand) and Paulene Sigmon (Euel); brothers-in-law, Bob Stitley, Ray McElroy, Tommy Hall and Ira Hall; sister-in-law, Louise Williams (Ray).
Ms. Hall is survived by her children, Jack Hall (Mickie), Barbara Ward (Paul), Nancy Brooks (Don), David Hall; daughter-in-law, Wenda Kelly; 15 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Tracy Stitley; and sister-in-law, Jean McElroy; and her loving feline companion, Kitten.
The family would like to give a sincere thanks to Carilion Hospice for the love, care and compassion shown to their mother and family during this time.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. (noon) Saturday, September 28, 2019 at Conner-Bowman Funeral Home with Pastor Ray Daniel officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 11 a.m.
