Elsie Mae Green Harrison

Elsie Mae Green Harrison age 95 went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, June 11, 2018 with her family by her side. She was a member of Henry Fork Church of the Brethren where she was baptized, and she was raised and worked on the family farm. She also worked in public works throughout her life. She was kind and loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend who will be missed by everyone. She was born on October 3, 1922 a daughter of the late John and Gracie Hall Green. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Thomas Newburn Harrison; a son, Allen Harrison; and a daughter, Nancy Hall. She is survived by her sons, Noel “Tom” Harrison and Benny Harrison (Joyce); daughters, Ruby Dillon, Janet Hudson, Joyce Yopp (Jimmy Lawrence), Glenda Dooley (Mark) and Lynne Harrison (Greg); many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Charlene Green and Geneva Green. She is also survived by many other family members and friends. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 15, 2018 at Conner-Bowman Funeral Home with Pastors Billy Shively and Rick Poland officiating. Interment will follow in the Harrison Family Cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Thursday with her family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
